Work Description:
Preventing the transmission of contagious diseases is crucial, not only for individuals to begin necessary care but also to avoid further contagion. In pandemic situations, timely diagnosis becomes even more urgent and critical. The sooner we detect the spread of a disease, the sooner it can be contained. Therefore, my research aims to evaluate the viability of using artificial intelligence techniques to build predictive models that estimate and reduce the risk of Covid-19 contagion. This will be achieved using a reduced number of samples based solely on behavioral and socioeconomic variables, which can be collected quickly, easily, and at no cost.
