Work Description:
Diagnosing a contagious disease is an important activity, not only so that the individual can initiate the necessary care but also to prevent its transmission. In pandemic situations, this diagnosis becomes even more urgent and essential because the sooner the contagion of a disease is discovered, the sooner it can be contained. My research aims to build a predictive model based on artificial intelligence that calculates the risk of a person be contaminated by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes the disease COVID-19. To calculate this risk, behavioural and socioeconomic data are used, which are factors related to the persons exposure and vulnerability.
