He graduated in Physics in 1986, specialized in Physics Teaching in 1991, master degree in 1997, and PhD in 2009 in Electrical Engineering: Microelectronics from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo -EPUSP. Develop research on the following topics: microelectronics, mems, piezoresistive sensors in Graphite on Paper - GoP, DLC - Diamond-like Carbon, and ITO - Indium-Tin Oxide. It uses mathematical and computational modelling in an interdisciplinary way, in the areas of engineering, computing, physics, chemistry, biological and biomedical sciences for technological development and innovation in the areas of agriculture, health care, post-harvest technology, veterinary, systems automation, devices wearables, smart sensors, IoT, bioenergy, natural resources, and sustainability. Uses ecological materials to develop piezoresistive sensors.
