My research is focused on the development of a computational model to predict university dropout. This study is being conducted at a public university in Ecuador with data gathered from the institution's computer system. This investigation determines data from the in-person modality - be it socioeconomic, demographic, or performance - that enables us to identify students who are at risk of dropping out and to create a profile of those individuals. My investigation employs Educational Data Mining (EDM) to identify the qualities that are most closely linked to the issue at hand as well as to enhance the data set itself for more accurate prediction results.
